There ARE some good people in this world

I was driving to my aunt's house yesterday and I blew a tire on the I-10 freeway. Ironically, I had replaced a leaky tire earlier in the day and had been told that all my tires were in pretty bad shape. So I pulled over to the side of the road and called my aunt and uncle to see if one of them could come and help me. As I was on the phone, this nice man and his son pulled over and changed my tire for me. I was so thankful for their help and they worked hard to get the tire changed. The asphalt was pretty soft because of the heat and my jack was gnawing a hole in the ground. . .so we moved the car and they used some blocks of wood from their truck to get the jack to work.

This man and his son were so nice and they refused to accept any money for helping me. I am so grateful for their help and it makes me smile to know that there are decent people left in this world.
