It is so hot that the pool feels like a hot tub.
It was so hot yesterday that after work Dan and I decided to take Noah swimming at my parent's house. We got out suits on, loaded into the car, and drove to grandma and grandpa's house. We pulled the pool cover back and hopped into the water and proceeded to sweat because the water was so hot. The hot water is a combination of the extreme heat Phoenix is experiencing and the pool cover. The cover was installed before Noah was born to prevent him from drowning. The problem is that when the cover is on it raises the water temperature dramatically. In the spring this is no big deal but in the middle of the summer it is a big deal.
Guess we will be rethinking swimming at my parent's house.
